I'm feeling a little bit better today, so Jennifer and I decided to walk around town a bit. I took my camera with me to take some snapshots so I could make a photomap using Trevor's awesome app, 93 Photo Street. You can see photos from our walk here. I love seeing my photos tied to a physical location...I know I'm going to look back on these photomaps in a few years and have a much better sense of what I did today than if I just kept a directory full of photos.
Nice pics Mike! Looks like you had much nicer weather than we did with the remnants of Charlie traipsing through.
What model camera are you using these days? I'm
still on my first digital, a Canon G1. Been thinking about a new one though.

Hey, I remember that scooter too! Thanks for sharing your walk. That's a cool photo app.

Thanks Erich! I'm just using my crappy old first-generation Canon Digital Elph. The camera I'd like to get is a Nikon D70 -- several people at work (including Tony!) have one, and report that the D70 is amazingly fast and takes awesome pictures. (Check out the "Photo Albums" section on Tony's blog, nooksack.blogs.com, to see awesome pictures he took with his D70.)
I hadn't heard about hurricane Charlie...sounds like I'm overdue for a phone call with my mother!
